The Institute
The Institute of Education is part of the Faculty of Education at TU Dresden. Teacher trainees on degree programs for grammar schools, secondary schools and elementary school complete the educational science modules at the Institute.
Ten Chairs with research associates, teaching fellows and four secretariats make up the Institute.
The Institute of Education has the following Chairs:
Chair of General Didactics and Instructional Research,
Chair of Education / Primary Education,
Chair of Education / Quantitative Research Methods,
Chair of Primary Education / German Education,
Primary School Education/Mathematics and
Primary School Education/Subject Teaching;
Chair of School Education with a focus on Media Education,
Chair of General Education and the
Chair of School Pedagogy: School Research.
The Institute is dedicated to researching and examining pedagogical action, pedagogical phenomena and pedagogical theories.
