"EW goes AI" enters the second round
In November 2025, the Faculty of Education set out to discuss current developments in generative AI and their impact on teaching and research as part of "EW goes AI". In addition to an initial thematic exchange, ideas for further joint work were collected at the time. Among other things, the desire for a coordinated approach to AI emerged.
There are now calls for guidelines on how to deal with AI applications in teaching and examination contexts in all areas of the TUD. In consultation with the Vice-Rectorate Education and Lifelong Learning (PBL), the Digital Teaching Team (TDL) of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences was commissioned to actively support the development of faculty- and department-wide guidelines. In order to develop a draft for a basic guideline for the Faculty of Education, the Chair of Primary Education / Mathematical Education together with the TDL GSW invites you to a new discussion round "EW goes AI".
| When? | 24.06.2026 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm |
| Where? | MS1 101 (assembly hall) |
After an introductory input by the TUD on the framework conditions of AI at the TUD and possible topics of AI guidelines, the event will serve to report on individual experiences or implementations and to jointly discuss the design of a faculty-wide guideline. The aim of the event is to use the results of the discussion as a basis for an initial proposal for AI guidelines for the Faculty of EW.
Please register informally by email (to sebastian.schorcht@tu-dresden.de).
We look forward to the joint exchange!
The Digital Teaching Team of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Team of the Chair of Primary Education / Mathematical Education
