The workshop

The workshop is a place of teaching and learning in which theory and practice can be combined. The workshop concept focuses on practicing craft-oriented steps and work processes.

The workshop thus offers students the opportunity to discover their abilities with tools and materials in a protected space and to acquire, develop and optimize practical skills on this basis.

The workshop is equipped with professional machines and hand tools that enable prospective teachers to acquire and consolidate the higher-level knowledge they need. High-quality technical equipment is also available for practicing future work/teaching preparation activities:

• measuring
• cutting
• joining
• forming
• coating

In seminars, exercises and specially created "open workshop" times, students can familiarize themselves with this equipment - depending on their level of instruction and previous knowledge - and use it for their student projects.
