ArtLab and art didactics
The art laboratory sees itself as a teaching-learning format for testing a new type of primary school-specific art education. Conceptually, it moves between a studio - as a place for individual artistic experimentation - and a learning workshop - as a space for a variety of open educational opportunities - and thus creates an innovative perspective on teaching and learning in the subject of art.
Ideas for a new kind of art didactics can be explored in a more interdisciplinary way in the "Open Art Lab". In the open setting, students have the opportunity to pursue individual questions in an aesthetic-researching manner and to try out experimental teaching concepts in a self-organized way. This advanced format of the KunstLabor thus sees itself as a forum for student exchange and reflection processes.
The KunstLabor is located in rooms MS1 121 and MS 1 173 in the Faculty of Education building at Münchner Straße 1.
