The Primary Education Research Lab in the field of German didactics
The Primary Education Research Lab in the field of German didactics is intended to provide space for self-organised, exploratory and research-based learning for students and teachers. They are offered a stimulating learning environment to familiarise themselves with student-activating methods and teaching materials and thus support forms of self-determined learning.
The process of developing and testing their own ideas for lesson and material design is intended to encourage reflection on children's learning processes. At the same time, the learning and research workshop aims to develop and realise (student) research projects.

The Primary Education Research Lab in the field of German didactics
In the field of German didactics, the Primary Education Research Lab takes the following forms:
- as a (reference) library for children's and youth literature and media, language games, didactic materials on (second) language and written language acquisition as well as literature on research methods, which is currently also accessible virtually
- as a forum for literary and linguistic learning and action
- as a workshop for didactic material (e.g. production of Montessori material)
- as a writing workshop (e.g. creative writing, scientific writing)
- as a venue for the Long Night of Workshops
