We are delighted to warmly welcome Dr. Katharina Kaesling to the TUDiSC network, as she embarks on her new role as PI for the project DESIGNATE. As Junior Professor for civil law, intellectual property, in particular patent law, and legal issues of AI at the TU Dresden, Dr. Kaesling brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge, from which TUDiSC can only benefit. In particular Dr Kaesling’s specialism in the area of legal questions relating to artificial intelligence is sure to strengthen the work of Designate and it’s work on ‘Dark Patterns’. She will strengthen the focus of the project on vulnerable groups and thereby expand perspectives on digital disruptions. We look forward to seeing the fruits of this exciting collaboration and welcome her to the TUDiSC network.
