The Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders at the REWE Team Challenge 2026
A team from the Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders also took part in the 17th edition of the running event, held on June 17, 2026, in Dresden.
The REWE Team Challenge is one of Germany’s largest corporate runs and is all about team spirit, exercise, and shared experiences. Participants run in teams of four, with the focus on the shared experience rather than individual performance. Together with thousands of other runners, the FOVOG team completed the five-kilometer course through downtown Dresden to the finish line at Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. This year’s route began near Postplatz, specifically on Annenstraße, continued along Ammonstraße and through the tunnel at Wiener Platz, and then proceeded through the area around Blüherpark and Lingnerallee to the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion.
The FOVOG team set off at 7:00 p.m. representing TUD Dresden University of Technology. Once again, this organization fielded the largest group of participants at this year’s REWE Team Challenge. A total of 544 runners took to the course for TUD Dresden University of Technology.
