Klöster im Kino/Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften: Das Geheimnis von Kells (08.07.2022)

As the conclusion of the film series Klöster im Kino and part of the Dresden Science Night, "Das Geheimnis von Kells" by Tomm Moore will be shown on 08.07.2022 at 21:30 on the field behind the Hörsaalzentrum.

Ireland in the 9th century. Young Brendan is a novice in the monastery of Kells and has never left it. When the illuminator Aidan, fleeing from the Vikings, takes refuge in the monastery to finish a book shrouded in mystery, Brendan's life is turned upside down. To help, he must overcome his fears and delve into enchanted woods outside the monastery.

The event runs as part of the Dresden Science Night and is part of the film series "Klöster im Kino" in cooperation with Kino im Kasten. Admission free!
