Stefan Michel elected Chairman of the Thomas Müntzer Society

Stefan Michel was elected as the new chairman of the Thomas Müntzer Society at its general meeting in Mühlhausen on May 24, 2025. He takes over the office from Dr. Thomas T. Müller. The Müntzer Society is dedicated to filling in the gaps in the reformer's biography, investigating Müntzer's relationships with his contemporaries, reassessing his role in the Peasants' War, presenting his theology and researching the history of his reception.
