New Anthology: »Instrumente Gottes«
Artificially intelligent programs and robots are increasingly transforming areas of society and putting things we take for granted to the test. In German and English contributions, this volume discusses new approaches to the use of artificial intelligence and robots as instruments in religious practice and presents the development of current projects. The authors offer international and interreligious perspectives on systematic and practical theology, from eschatology, anthropology and ethics to religious education and pastoral care. The internal theological debate is supplemented with contributions from religious studies, psychology and human-computer interaction.
The volume is published by Alber Theologie and can be read open access .
Martin Kutz is doing his doctorate under Professor Birte Platow on the social relevance of AI. The interreligious network neth:KI brings together early-career researchers working at the intersection of theology, digitalization and AI.
