Forschen am Puls der Zeit
We understand religious education as a genuinely theological discipline that acts as a researcher and mediator between current realities of life and theological questions. In our research, we identify, reconstruct and analyse phenomena and (new) forms of expression of ‘the’ religious in a critical-constructive perspective.
Research at the Chair
The research spectrum extends to the areas of (religious) education, the diverse cultures of digitality and artificial intelligence and future forms of religious and trans-religious education. In particular, the question of education for sustainable development and the capacity for plurality is central. We address these questions using a variety of methods, ranging from hermeneutic to empirical and computational research methods.
