Centre for Central- and Eastern Europe

The Centre for the Study of Central and Eastern Europe is a competence centre of the Faculty of Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at TU Dresden.

Partnerships of the Junior Professorship

Cooperations in the region of Eastern Central Europe are of particular importance, especially with individuals and institutions in Prague and Wrocław, TU Dresden's strategic partners. Repeated cooperation at conferences, summer schools and in research projects strengthens the exchange, opens up new perspectives and ensures that research results have a broader public impact.

In addition, we are engaged in establishing national and international partnerships in line with our teaching and research objectives, for example with the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and the University of Sussex in Great Britain, and with the Sorbian Institute in Bautzen, here in Saxony.
