Invitation to the Opening Reception for the Graduation Exhibition "Femissage"
The art education students invite you to the grand opening of the “Femissage” exhibition on July 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The evening will feature musical performances by a choir and DJ Clemse—Clemens Walther.
In the “Femissage” exhibition, we—21 female students of art education—explore a wide range of personal and social themes that inspire us, preoccupy us, and confront us in our daily lives. The works revolve, among other things, around body image, identity, home, family, ideals of beauty, our relationship with the environment, and social norms.
“Femissage” seeks to create a polyphonic space for individual perspectives, personal experiences, biographical explorations, material-based experiments, and everyday observations.
The presented works take on a wide variety of forms, including photography, painting, collage, media-based exhibition pieces, and sculptural works made from diverse materials.
“Femissage” is curated by Svea Duwe and Thomas Judisch in consultation with the participants and the directors of the Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections.
On view are works by the following students:
Verona Beyer / Anne-Christin Bryja / Anika Dorn / Vivien Elvers / Milena Friedländer / Amelie Gödicke / Annika Hellbach / Anna Jansen / Maria Lisa Junghans / Judith Katona / Hannah Sue Kleindienst / Anna Kluge / Kimi Krauspe / Mathilde Leder / Dorothee Linßner / Jennifer Pech / Jona Rohwerder / Noa Schäfer / Leonie Unglaube / Selina van der Valk / Lisanne Wedekind
The exhibition will open on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. with a vernissage in the Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections Gallery in the Görges Building at TU Dresden, Helmholtzstraße 9. The exhibition will be open to the public from then until August 28, 2026, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you there!
