Marta Pedroni is a postdoctoral researcher at the TU Dresden in the DFG project Progress through Principles. Her main philosophical interests lie in the philosophy of physics, especially philosophy of spacetime and quantum gravity. She is also interested in metaphysics, particularly at its intersection with the philosophy of physics.

Before coming to Dresden, she did a PhD in philosophy at the University of Geneva in the Geneva Symmetry Group. Her dissertation focuses on singularity resolution and its philosophical consequences. In particular, it explores the fate of spacetime singularities in loop quantum gravity and their role in advancing physics beyond general relativity.
