CeTI Workshop on the topic: "What role does causality play in explaining robot behavior?"

On November 21st. 2025, the workshop organized by JProf. Dr. Enno Fischer, JProf. Dr. Katharina Kaesling and Prof. Dr. Verena Klös was dedicated to the question of the role of causality in explaining robot behavior. A special focus of the contribution by JProf. Kaesling and Wiss. Konstantin Hofmann focused on perspectives from data protection and AI law, in which legal requirements for explainability and causality concepts in AI and robotic systems were discussed.

The workshop brought together interdisciplinary contributions from philosophy, law, engineering and neuroscience and promoted the exchange of ideas on common starting points for CeTI research.
