New edition of the juris PraxisKommentar BGB - Volume 2 (Law of Obligations) published
The new edition of the "juris PraxisKommentar BGB, Band 2 - Schuldrecht" has been published. Divided into three sub-volumes, the second volume covers the entire law of obligations of the German Civil Code including selected ancillary laws and has been completely revised and updated for the 11th edition.
Edited by Dr. Markus Junker, Prof. Dr. Roland Michael Beckmann and Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Helmut Rüßmann the commentary offers an up-to-date and practice-oriented treatment of central provisions of the general and special law of obligations and is aimed equally at practitioners and academics. A particular focus lies on the up-to-date treatment of the provisions on digital contract law. The new edition takes into account the latest developments in case law and legislation and presents them in an academically sound manner.
Prof. Kaesling is the author of a total of 24 standards in this edition of the commentaries. These include the provisions of §§ 327-327u BGB on digital contract law as well as §§ 445c, 516a, 548a and 578b BGB.
