New journal article "Das Veto in eigener Sache" in the German Review on the United Nations

In the journal article "Das Veto in eigener Sache" (The veto on one's own account) published in the German Review on the United Nations (issue 1/2023, pages 28-32), Prof. Dr. Dominik Steiger discusses Russia's veto in the Security Council against a draft resolution on 25 February 2022 condemning its war of aggression. This veto, which is inadmissible under the UN Charter, raises questions about the resulting legal consequences, which could be requested in an advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
