Open for Registration Now! 2^nd International Summer School “Human Rights in Theory and Practice”, September 5^th to 10^th, 2021 in Dresden

We are happy to announce that our International Summer School "Human Rights in Theory and Practice" is back! Our 2^nd Summer School will focus on the topic of “The European Convention on Human Rights in Times of Crises” and will take place in Dresden from September 5^th to 10^th, 2021. 
We will explore various challenges and opportunities for the European Human Rights System arising out of situations of crisis. Themes such as emergency situations, populism, migration, and the role of economic, social, and cultural rights in the context of crisis will be explored from an interdisciplinary perspective. The Summer School is designed for advanced students of law, political science, international relations, and similar fields. While prior knowledge of the European Human Rights System may be beneficial, it is not required. In addition to lectures we will also offer social activities in which participants will get to know the city of Dresden, its history, and its cultural attractions. 

Interested in Participating? Registration is open now! If you register until April 30^th, 2021 you pay the Early Bird Fee of 250 €, afterwards you pay the Regular Fee of 350 €.
