One highlight of the UN Day celebrations was the special event at the Kulturrathaus featuring a keynote speech by Dr. Flavia Pansieri, United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights who is Assistant Secretary-General of the UN on "Peace, Development and Human Rights". The keynote speech was followed by a panel discussion between Dr. Flavia Pansieri, Christoph Strässer (Federal Foreign Office) and Dr. Wolfgang Heinz (German Institute for Human Rights), which was moderated by Kai Ahlborn (President of the Regional Branch of DGVN).
