Curriculum Vitae
Johan Horst studied law in Berlin and Paris, as well as at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he obtained an LL.M. He worked as a researcher under Andreas Fischer-Lescano, completing his PhD under the supervision of Andreas Fischer-Lescano and Gunther Teubner. and headed the Lex Financiaria subproject in the ERC project Transnational Force of Law at the University of Bremen. Subsequently he held the position as emerging core researcher at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin's Integrated Research Institute 'Law & Society' and is currently a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory in the Department for Multidisciplinary Legal Theory of Marietta Auer.
