The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, Institute of Sociology, is seeking to fill the position of Chair of Methods in Empirical Social Research as of April 13, 2026.
stud. Assistant (m/f/d)
(4h/week)
until 24.07.2026 (tutorial is only offered during the lecture period and limited funds) for four students. The duration of employment is based on the WissZeitVG and the SächsHSG in conjunction with the Guidelines of the TdL for Student Assistants and Research Assistants of 28.02.2024.
Tasks: Tutor, in particular leading a lecture accompanying exercise group for the lecture series "Methods of Empirical Social Research II"
Prerequisites:
- enrolled student at a university (at least in the 5th semester)
- reliable and independent way of working
- very good/good performance in the field of methods of empirical social research I and II
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
- further software skills desired
