Alexandra Lorch as visiting scholar at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) of Queen Mary University of London (QMUL)

As part of her dissertation on "Regulating innovation in data-trained AI systems", Alexandra Lorch was a visiting scholar at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) of the Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) from February to May 2026.
By exchanging with researchers in the fields of IP, competition and internet law, as well as law, business and regulation, she was able to not only gain valuable insights into the regulatory practises of the United Kingdom, but also sharpen the comparison with the EU's legal system.
