The Schaufler Kolleg on a writing retreat

At the beginning of April, just in time for the start of the 2025 summer term, the eight academics from the Kolleg embarked on a five-day writing retreat at the Saxon Education and Meeting Center Windmühle Seifhennersdorf. The group was accompanied by writing coach Dr. Beate Richter from the Wissenschaftliche Schreibwerkstatt Berlin. She structured and guided the daily writing process while advising the participants in individual consultations. The main focus was on perception, reflection, and the reduction of writing obstacles, as well as the (further) development of writing strategies based on previously selected text projects.
