lecture by fellow Marie Briese at the Summer School of the Center for Interreligious Theology and Religious Studies

The Center for Interreligious Theology and Religious Studies (CITRS) at the Humboldt University of Berlin hosted a summer school on the topic of "Religions in the Age of (Right-Wing) Populism", in which Schaufler Lab fellow Marie Briese took part with a presentation of her doctoral project. The project presentation followed a lecture by sociologist and political scientist Dr. Alexander Yendell. The two then discussed their complementary methodological approaches to the phenomena of religious right-wing populism and right-wing extremism in a panel.

The Summer School brought researchers together with practitioners from July 14 to 17, 2025 and offered a variety of opportunities to learn from each other. Dresden political scientist Dr. Kolja Möller also gave a lecture.
