Wir laden Sie herzlich zur Teilnahme am interdisziplinären Symposium Unpacking Generativity. Epistemology, Politics and Aesthetics of Generative AI Systems ein, das am 07. Oktober 2025 an der TU Dresden stattfindet.
Das Symposium Unpacking Generativity widmet sich der kritischen Auseinandersetzung mit generativen KI-Systemen aus interdisziplinärer Perspektive. Im Fokus stehen dabei drei Themenblöcke: Epistemologie, Politik und Ästhetik. Ziel ist es, die gesellschaftliche Bedeutung und Wirkungsmacht generativer KI nicht nur technisch zu fassen, sondern im Spannungsfeld von Wissensordnungen, politischer Ökonomie und visueller Kultur zu verorten. Jeder Themenblock umfasst eine Keynote, zwei Lightning Talks und eine gemeinsame Diskussion. Zum Abschluss findet ein Gespräch mit allen drei Keynote-Speaker:innen statt.

We warmly invite you to participate in the interdisciplinary symposium Unpacking Generativity. Epistemology, Politics and Aesthetics of Generative AI Systems, taking place on October 7th, 2025 at the TU Dresden.
The symposium Unpacking Generativity invites critical engagement with generative AI systems from interdisciplinary perspectives. Focusing on three thematic blocks—Epistemology, Politics, and Aesthetics—the event aims to explore the societal impact and symbolic power of generative AI beyond technical definitions, situating it within broader knowledge systems, political economies, and visual cultures. Each thematic block will feature a keynote, two lightning talks, and a joint discussion. The event will close with a final conversation between all three keynote speakers.
