The Tudors - Kurz und knapp

This week at the Dresden Intercultural Days Festival is the World Premiere of “Last Stop: Clausnitz”, a play written and directed by Marc Lalonde (university lecturer and refugee helper) and performed in English by The TUDORS (Technische Universität Dresden Off their Rockers Shakespeareans).

On the 18th of February 2016, a bus of refugees, families with young children, was blocked by a racist mob in a small village in the Ore Mountains, south of Dresden.

Some of the Clausnitz refugees, the village mayor, members of the German Parliament, representatives of the Saxon government, and several journalists will be attending the performances at the “Kino im Kasten” (August-Bebel-Straße 20, 01219 Dresden) on the 23rd and 24th of September 2022 at 19:30.  

After Dresden, The TUDORS will start their world tour by putting on “Last Stop: Clausnitz” in Wroclaw (P) on the 15th of October and in Coventry (UK) on the 29th of October.
