What is (American) Diversity Studies all about? Prof. Junker's Talk at Sankt Afra zu Meißen, Feb. 8, 2023

On 8 Feb. 2023, Prof. Junker gave a talk at Sächsisches Landesgymnasium Sankt Afra zu Meißen on the question of "What is (American) Diversity Studies all about?“ As a boarding school for highly gifted students, Sankt Afra regularly organizes an academic week to introduce its students to various academic fields. Prof. Junker talked about ways to study diversity in scenarios of inequality. Questions included: how can Diversity Studies be approached at the university, what are the historical circumstances of its institutionalization, what are its archives and theoretical frameworks?
