Da Forza Dynamo a patriarciao: Traces of Italian in Dresden's subcultures

This lecture presents the traces of the Italian language in the urban space of Dresden. Using examples ranging from the language of soccer fans to expressions in a political context, it will shed light on how Italian expressions have found their way into urban subcultures. The lecture thus offers an opportunity to reflect on cultural exchange, appropriation and shared meanings in the urban space.
