English-German Language Café—meet, listen, speak
Join us for the last online language café of the 2026 summer semester and meet German and English speakers!
Students from the UK’s Open University will meet online with TUD staff and students to discuss interesting topics in a relaxed atmosphere. The meetings are moderated and held bilingually. The focus is on conversation—language and culture are meant to be experienced and discussed together. The virtual meetings are designed to:
- exchange ideas on a wide range of interesting topics
- to practice oral language skills and speaking freely
- to engage in discussions in small groups and as a whole group
Who is it for?
--> For advanced learners (at least B1 level)
When?
--> June 24, 2026, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. German time (6:00–7:30 p.m. UK time)
Topic: Traveling in Germany and the UK, vacations, future plans
