Individual language training with a native speaker? ­ The LSK starts tandem language learning

When learning a language in tandem, two people with different native languages come together to learn systematically with and from each other.

For example, your mother tongue is French and you want to improve your German skills?

The MSZ team at the Teaching Centre for Languages and Regional Studies (LSK) uses the tandem database to find a suitable partner who speaks German as a native language and would like to train and learn French. Tutors establish the contacts and provide tips for the first meetings.

In a tandem training you learn in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, talk about topics that are relevant to you and your interests. You also apply your knowledge with an authentic conversation partner. You determine the pace and focus together with your partner.
