Poster on the occasion of the lecture by Dr. Annegret Richter (University of Leipzig) titled “On the Construction of Queer Subjectivities in Franco-Maghreb Literature,” held on January 8, 2020, at TU Dresden.
The lecture used case studies to shed light on the literary representation of non-normative forms of gender and sexuality, which critically examine heteronormativity and thus also reflect and rethink the relationship between the individual and the community in post-colonial Maghrebian societies.
