What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data?
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e GDPR i.V.m. § Section 15 (1), (3) SächsHSG and the provisions of the Framework Regulation on the Processing of Personal Data at TU Dresden(Framework Regulation VpbD) applicable to the respective processing purpose, in particular Section 2 Framework Regulation VpbD. In addition to the aforementioned regulations, the relevant regulations of TU Dresden(aptitude assessment regulations Master Digital Humanities) apply.
What personal data is processed?
Without the consent of the persons concerned, only the data specified in Annex 2 letter A of the Framework Regulations VpbD will be processed in the digital application procedure.
How long will personal data be processed/stored?
The data will be deleted after completion of the respective application process, at the latest at the beginning of the winter semester on October 1.
Is personal data transferred to third parties?
Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented to this in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties.

What rights do data subjects have?
To exercise these rights, it is sufficient to notify the controller in text form (letter or email).
Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
Data subjects have the right to request information about the personal data processed about them and the possible recipients of this data at any time.
Right to rectification, erasure and restriction (Art. 16 - 18 GDPR)
Data subjects can request that TU Dresden rectify or erase their personal data or restrict processing at any time.
Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR)
Data subjects can contact TU Dresden's Data Protection Officer at any time, as well as a supervisory authority for data protection in the event of a complaint under Art. 77 GDPR.
