The curtain is rising for the new "Season of Excellence" 2024!

At the excellent science hub of Dresden, committed members of TU Dresden and the partner institutions of the DRESDEN-concept research alliance are creating and organizing exciting Summer Schools for young academics from all over the world. Since 2023, the numerous excellent Summer Schools taking place in Dresden have been brought together under the umbrella brand Season of Excellence - Dresden Summer Schools. By establishing this united brand, the Dresden Summer Schools are highlighted and supposed to gain greater visibility in the international scientific public.

Students, junior scientists, and school organizers can now discover the wide range of offers in the new Summer School Season 2024! New filter functions have made it even easier to search for a suitable event.

Another new feature of the Season 2024 is a support area that targets the requirements of the format specifically and provides very practical information for newcomers as well as experienced school organizers to successfully plan and run a summer school. The spectrum of the support topics ranges from funding opportunities, sustainability tips, and venues to a selection of Dresden's rich and vivid cultural programs to enable the participants to have an unforgettable city experience.

In this way, "Season of Excellence", which started as a visibility campaign, goes one step further and is on its way to serving as an effective information platform.
