ACC Autumn Schools
Almost 100 students from six universities in the three countries (D, CZ, PL) of the Euroregion Neisse meet from October 16 to 19 for four parallel autumn schools at the International Meeting Center St. Marienthal and work together on project ideas on the topics of "transformation" and "sustainability". The offerings range from visits to local producers and businesses to keynotes by prominent experts to a cooking workshop in which recipes from a 1720 Hirschberg region cookbook discovered by Dr. Zaprucki of the Krkonoše Academy KANS in Jelenia Góra being prepared. The Euroregional Autumn Schools are part of the 1st ACC Forum under the heading "From Change to Transformation". The organizational umbrella is the Academic Coordination Center of the Euroregion Neisse (ACC). Under the presidency of IHI Director Prof. Claus, the idea was developed to regularly bring together students and scientists:inside the Euroregion Neisse for fall schools and conferences. In 2024 the ACC presidency will change to the rector of the TU Liberec, Prof. Brzezina.
