New ERASMUS Partnership with Cluj-Napoca
Starting in the winter semester of 2027, a new Erasmus+ partnership between IHI Zittau and the Faculty of Business and Economics at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca will begin, opening up new opportunities for international study and exchange experiences.
As part of the partnership, an Erasmus+ exchange at the master’s level is initially planned. The program includes five student mobility placements, each lasting five months, as well as three slots for Erasmus+ staff mobility. This will enable students and staff at IHI Zittau to gain international experience, explore new academic perspectives, and establish contacts with a renowned Romanian university. Together with TUD, Babeș-Bolyai University is a member of the European university network EUTOPIA.
With approximately 90,000 students, Cluj-Napoca is one of Romania’s most important university cities and a young, dynamic, and international city. Located in the heart of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca combines a vibrant academic scene with a diverse cultural life, offering ideal conditions for an exciting Erasmus+ exchange.
On behalf of IHI Zittau, the collaboration is coordinated by Ms. Scheunig and Ms. Schönfelder. On the Romanian side, Prof. Dr. Monica-Maria Coroș, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics in Cluj-Napoca, is involved in the collaboration.
