IHI Zittau and TU Kharkiv students study together again in hybrid format

Since the Russian invasion in Ukraine in spring 2022, Prof. Oksana Makovoz from the Faculty of Management at Kharkiv University of Technology has been living and working in the Zittau region - and since September 2022, she has been a permanent member of the IHI Zittau team, thanks to DAAD funding as part of the "Ukraine digital" project. In addition to digital teaching for her own students, Prof. Makovoz has since been involved in numerous courses at IHI Zittau. Following a collaboration between German, Ukrainian and Polish students (from the Wrocław University of Economics) last academic year on the topic of "Humor in Business", Prof. Makovoz and some of her students were once again guests in the "Intercultural Communication" module and discussed the role of communication styles in building management skills.

While the Zittau students from the International Management and Ecosystem Services degree programs sat in the lecture hall, the group from Ukraine joined them via video conference.
