Dr. Kapteina Selected for the Academia Mentoring Program
Dr. Benedikt Kapteina, postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Business Administration, with a focus on Responsible Management at IHI Zittau, has been selected for the prestigious Academia Mentoring Program of the Graduate Academy at TU Dresden. The program supports postdocs in their personal and professional development and helps them plan their academic careers by providing opportunities for reflection, feedback, networking, and further qualifications to successfully navigate the next steps in their academic journey.
Through the program, mentees are paired with experienced mentors in one-on-one relationships, gaining valuable insights into the structures and networks of academia. Mentees receive targeted support in shaping their careers and constructive feedback, while mentors can further develop their advisory and leadership skills.
"I am excited to be part of this program, which strengthens my academic career and network while providing valuable support," says Dr. Kapteina.
The twelve-month program includes three official meetings (Kick-off, Mid-term Review, and Closing Event) and access to various qualification opportunities designed to enhance communication, leadership, and other key competencies for an academic career.
Congratulations to Dr. Kapteina on his selection — we look forward to supporting his academic success through the Mentoring Program.
