Module Examinations
Module Exams
Successful completion of a degree program at TU Dresden requires passing all exams specified in the program’s examination regulations. Each master’s program at IHI Zittau includes several module exams as well as a master’s thesis with a colloquium. Any module exam that is not passed may be retaken up to two times. Typical exam formats include written exams, oral exams, seminar papers, and presentations.
Exam Results
Exam results are published on a student-by-student basis in the selma student portal for students enrolled in 2024 or later, and in the QIS student portal for students enrolled in 2023 or earlier.
Please contact the examiners if you are missing results from past semesters or if there are any discrepancies.
Grade Summary / Transcript of Records
If your degree program is managed in selma, the Examination Office can provide you with a transcript of records in selma for download upon request. If necessary, you can have a certified transcript of records issued by the Examination Office.
If your exam results are managed via the QIS student portal, you can download a transcript of records yourself. A certified transcript of records can be requested from the Examination Office if needed.
You may submit a written declaration to the Examination Office stating that you are waiving the requirement to take an exam. Please use the appropriate form for this purpose. Consequently, this exam attempt will be graded as “insufficient” (5.0) or “failed” for that particular exam attempt. The waiver is irrevocable.
