Learning Objectives

Students are familiar with the fundamental models of communicative relationships, particularly those of intercultural communication. They understand how these relate to philosophical and discourse ethics, especially the concept of respect. They are able to apply the theoretical knowledge they have acquired to specific cultural contexts and to integrate it into a successful way of life in foreign or multicultural environments. Students possess knowledge of a foreign language as a foundation and practical tool for intercultural communication.
