First seminar of Saxon Dialogue on Biodiversity: What is biodiversity and what does it do for us?
Organized by the United Nations University Institute for Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources (UNU-FLORES) and Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), the first seminar of Saxon Dialogue on Biodiversity is going to be held on the 24th of June (Thu.) from 16 to 17.30.
This seminar gives an overview of what constitutes biodiversity and provides insights into its current state and development trends from the local to the international level. Biodiversity’s contributions to overall human well-being are discussed, providing insights into the constant interaction between humankind and nature. In line with the UN Biodiversity Day 2021 motto, “We‘re part of the solution”, this seminar disseminates knowledge about appreciation and conservation of species and promotes the sustainable use of natural resources.
The main language of the seminar series is German. Flash talks in English will be supplemented with German subtitles.
