Hybrid Music Lab Concert

The results of a joint workshop of the Hochschule für Musik (HfM) Carl Maria von Weber and the TU Dresden on the topic of Sound Synthesis could be heard on Sunday, 11.07.21 in the concert hall of the HfM. In the Hybrid Music Lab new works at the interface of live electronics and installation were presented. Among others, the Sound & Fury Ensemble played the improvisational part of the concert. In the preceding interdisciplinary workshop, new concepts of sound synthesis were evaluated, e.g. by the autonomous generation of tone sequences with the help of cellular automata or the development of an innovative sensor bar interface for percussionists.
