Research
Core research areas are:
- Smart wearables and intelligent implants for analyzing biosignals
- Medical integrated sensors and sensor systems for biomedical applications
To this end, the Chair's staff deal with the analog, digital and mixed-signal aspects of integrated CMOS circuit technologies. A particular focus here is on ultra-low-power and ultra-low-frequency designs. The research spectrum ranges from technology-based approaches to the creation and evaluation of new types of sensors and interfaces, to professional circuit design for application-optimized integrated systems (ASICs), to the development of new concepts for analogue and digital data analysis (edge computing).
