Ultra-low-energy-consuming wireless transceiver chip powered by a lemon
In this video, we present our design of a wireless transceiver chip in 22nm CMOS FD-SOI technology by GlobalFoundries, which consumes ultra-low supply energy. The DC power of the transceiver amounts only 500nW, it can therefore be powered by fruits or ecological waste and is an example of our research in the area of environmentally-friendly Green-ICT at the Chair of Circuit Design and Network Theory.
