Dr.-Ing. Andrey Morozov will move to the IAS at the University of Stuttgart as a junior professor in April 2020. Within the framework of a six-year tenure-track position, he will establish a new professorship for "Networked Automation Systems".
Jun.-Prof. Morozov received his diploma in computer science and mathematics from Ufa State Aviation Technical University in Ufa, Russia in 2007. In 2009, he moved to Germany and completed his PhD at the Institute of Automation (IfA, Prof. Janschek), Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, TU Dresden University in 2012. After that he worked very successfully as a postdoctoral researcher on several R & D projects funded by DLR, ESA, NASA and DFG. In 2014, Jun.-Prof. Morozov founded a new research group at IfA focusing on model-based analysis of safety-critical mechatronic systems. Jun.-Prof. Morozov has published 40 scientific papers and more than 20 scientific presentations, including presentations at research centers of ESA, DLR, Bosch, MathWorks, Sandford Research Institute, and University of California at Los Angeles.
