Bio

Yushan Yang is a PhD researcher at TU Dresden, where she has worked since August 2023 within the 6G-life and 6G-life² research hubs. Her research focuses on connected intelligence for multi-agent systems, investigating how robots and networked sensors can exchange information to enable reliable collaborative perception under bandwidth and latency constraints.

She is the project lead of a Software Campus research project conducted in partnership with Volkswagen AG. The project addresses safety-assured coordination of autonomous mobile robot fleets. In 2025, she was a visiting PhD researcher at BrIAS and BruBotics, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where she worked on multi-robot point-cloud streaming for teleoperation.

She holds an M.Sc. in Computational Modeling and Simulation (Vision Computing) from TU Dresden and a bachelor's degree in computer science. During her master's studies, she was awarded TU Dresden FOSTER funding for the project "CloudVR" and conducted research in immersive media and human–computer interaction.
