Integrated Photonic Devices

The research of the integrated photonic devices (IPD) group is focused on two fields:

• IPD for short distance communications
  Integrated photonic devices will be designed, simulated and realized with the focus on wired and wireless energy-efficient short range optical interconnect applications.
• IPD for non-classical computing
  Nonlinearities in integrated waveguides is being investigated for optical signal processing and non-classical computing applications.
