GRATULATIONS PROF. DR.-ING. THOMAS MIKOLAJICK

Professor Thomas Mikolajick, Professor of the chair of Nanoelectronics at the institute of semiconductor and microsystems, as well as a scientific director of the TUD subsidiary NaMLab gGmbH has received two international awards for his groundbreaking research in non-volatile memory. On the one hand, he has been nominated as “Highly Cited Researcher”; that is, he belongs to the 1% of the most cited scientists in his research field. The list of the “Highly Cited Researchers” is defined based on the data bank “Web of Science Core Collection” and represents the number of citations of publications from 2011 to 2021. In Germany, 369 persons are on this list, an award, which indicates the reach of the scientific research. On the other hand, he will be appointed from IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) as “IEEE Fellow “ on 01.01.2023. The highest degree awarded by the international professional association for engineers for special international merits in the respective field.
