Industrial Cyber Physical Systems
Course details
| Course type | Scope in SWS (V/Ü/P) | Time | Room |
|---|---|---|---|
| Industrial Cyber Physical Systems | 2/2/0 | APB/1066 |
Description of the course
The students have the necessary knowledge and know specialized methods to design and implement application systems. The scope of this course focuses on industrial cyber-physical systems (CPS).
In the course, methods from current research projects on the following topics are presented:
-
Cyberphysical production systems
-
various aspects of industrial networking, e.g. real-time, prioritization, reservation, synchronization, multiplexing
-
Holistic management of industrial networks and systems
-
Information modeling for industrial cyber-physical systems, e.g. digital twin
-
Industry 4.0, in particular basic concepts, models, services and interactions
The methods are first introduced theoretically and then applied to realistic problems in exercises.
The course teaches the basics for the "Cyber Physical Systems Lab".
