In our teaching, we contribute to the bachelor, master’s, and diploma programs in computer science, media computer science, information systems engineering, and distributed systems engineering at TU Dresden. In addition to basic courses and those for specialization and advanced study in sub-disciplines of computer science, we also offer courses for general and interdisciplinary qualification and for the acquisition of job-specific key competencies as well as numerous projects and internships.
Our main focus is on training data scientists and system designers with broad competencies ranging from simulation and modeling to data analysis and interpretation, as well as system and protocol experts for wireless communication between mobile devices and with people, from Wi-Fi to cellular and beyond – with solid, future-proof fundamental knowledge and sound practical applicability.
Courses currently offered include: Network Simulation, Vehicular Networking, Closed-Loop Control in Networked Control Systems, Cooperative Mobile Systems, as well as seminars and hands-on labs. Theses (bachelor thesis, master’s thesis, diploma thesis) and research papers (Großer Beleg, Studienarbeit, INF-D-960, and Forschungsprojekt) on all of the above topics round out our offerings.
