German-French Double-Degree with the University in Rennes
The programme is coordinated by the Franco-German University and our partner university is INSA, the National Institutes of Science and Technology in Rennes.
Course of studies
Students of the TUD in the Master's programme "Distributed Systems Engineering" (DSE) complete the 60 credit points of the first 2 semesters provided for in the study plan. They then complete 2-3 semesters of study at INSA Rennes, the standard curriculum of the Master's programme "Science Informatique" (SIF) to the extent of 60 credit points. The final thesis is completed according to the regulations of the TUD.
Brief description of the programme content
With this programme, students have the opportunity to obtain 2 university diplomas in 2 semesters at the TUD and 2-3 semesters at INSA Rennes: the Master's diploma DSE of the TU Dresden and the engineering diploma of INSA Rennes.
Study requirements
Students from Dresden must have a minimum of a three-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subject. In addition, English language skills with level B2+ must be proven.
Admission procedure
To apply, the following documents must be submitted to the programme officer by the deadline:
- application letter stating the motivation for the exchange programme
- Overview of all academic and examination achievements (incl. Bachelor's degree certificate) since the A-Level (Transcript of record)
- Proof of English language skills with level B2+
Application deadline
Applications for integrated studies must be submitted by TUD students to INSA Rennes by 31 March for the following academic year.
